Earn Extra Money with a Referral

Part of what makes us so successful at Backes Auctioneers is working with people who refer us to potential auctions opportunities. We do more than 100 appraisals and auctions every year, and many of them are made possible by our referral program. If you know of a business that is about to close, referring the owner to us can help you earn some extra money.

All you have to do is talk to the business owner and give them our number. Once that’s done, give us a call to let us know you spoke with the business owner. If it results in an auction or liquidation, we’ll provide you with compensation. All auction referral information is confidential. We receive phone calls and leads quickly from business owners after a closing, so the auction referral is on a first-come, first-served basis.
 

 Examples of a Referral

Below are two examples of appropriate referrals:

• The ABC Diner in Cedar Falls, Iowa closed yesterday. The owner’s name is John Brown, and he can be reached at 319-555-5555.
• There was an announcement for the closure of four ABC Diner locations across the Midwest. Their home office is located in Des Moines.
